WHAT HAPPENED?
The Red Dragons are back in Sin City for the second time in as many years, with back-to-back promotions leading Hollywood co-owners to fund two all-expenses-paid trips to Nevada. Phil Parkinson has not joined his players on that trip, but McElhenney – who was accompanied by wife Kaitlin Olson 12 months ago – has found it impossible to stay away.

There is no sign of Ryan Reynolds as yet, with the upcoming release of Deadpool & Wolverine taking up plenty of his time. Wrexham’s squad are having a memorable time, with VIP treatment being enjoyed at famous Vegas nightspots.

Wrexham are not the only sporting show in town, though, with Mexican boxing sensation Canelo in action against Jaime Munguia. Mullin, McClean, George Evans and Andy Cannon made a point of heading to the T-Mobile Arena to watch a unanimous points victory for Alvarez – which ended Munguia’s unbeaten record in his 44th bout.

Once everybody is back in North Wales, with Parkinson and his coaching team having enjoyed a celebratory break in Spain, attention can turn to the summer transfer window – with Reynolds and McElhenney expected to make more money available as the Red Dragons prepare for life in League One.
