Harry Kane has seen another accolade fall out of reach, with the Bayern Munich striker beaten to the Bundesliga Player of the Season award.

    WHAT HAPPENED?

    The England international would have expected to come into contention for that prize after registering 44 goals in his debut campaign at the Allianz Arena – with 36 of those efforts coming in the German topflight. He has, however, ended the season empty-handed.

    Major silverware continues to prove elusive, with the likes of Bayer Leverkusen and Real Madrid dashing domestic and continental dreams for Kane in 2023-24. He is currently nursing an injury, ahead of Euro 2024, but is expected to be back in the trophy hunt next season.
